Meet Dr. Winfield

Dr. Winfield, a San Diego native, pursued his passion for science and service through dentistry. After studying pharmacological chemistry at UC San Diego, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific in 2019. He specialized in prosthodontics, completing advanced training at the University of Illinois Chicago and becoming a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.

Growing up in a low-income household, he developed a commitment to service, leading mission trips with organizations like 1000 Smiles and Flying Samaritans, and continuing his humanitarian work in Jamaica and the Philippines.

He also trained in IV sedation to enhance patient care and often lectures to fellow professionals. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Winfield enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding, diving, and traveling, having visited over 20 countries. Fluent in Spanish, he lived in South America for six months.

His family, including his younger sister (a fellow dentist), is his greatest support. Inspired by mission trips, Dr. Winfield chose dentistry to make a direct impact on underserved communities, transforming lives through full-mouth reconstructions.
